Just was outside preparing for our blizzard. It's hard to believe the weather change that is headed our way tonight. We hit 65 degrees today...tomorrow's high predicted to be 20 degrees. Even though we had a total of about 30 inches of snow a month or so ago, that is long gone and the weather has been great. A couple of my plants in pots (annuals) are still putting out new leaves and flowering. I swore to myself that once the real cold temps arrived I wouldn't protect them anymore this season. Well, I couldn't let them go...so they are in the garage for the next few days.
Jo I don't know if possum would steal the keys. Do you have raccoons in the area too? Hope you find your keys!
I have trouble with deer loving my hostas too much! ha.ha. One day the hostas look fabulous the next day nubby little stems! Here is something that I have been admiring in a lot of neighbors' gardens over the years. (Ceratostigma plumbago) Especially in hard to grow shady areas. (Very pretty throughout the late spring, summer and fall.) I finally tried it this year and love it!! I'm going to plant more next year. http://www.highcountrygardens.com/catalog/product/33450/ (I used a link to a catalog that had nice photos and information)
Nancyjean Central Pennsylvania for me. 🙂
Amber Wow! It's sounds as if you are able to grow a lot on your deck.
